  • ROSEBUD BATTLEFIELD ~ Where Crazy Horse fought Crook to a standstill just days before Custer’s demise.

     

  • POMPEY’S PILLAR on the Lewis & Clark Trail ~ Climb the rock, see the signatures and wander the river…

     

  • BIG HORN RIVER ~ Relax for a day on the world-renowned Bighorn River. Fish, bird-watch, play and rejuvenate. Rent a boat, learn to fly fish, photograph Yellowtail Lake our Mini Grand Canyon- and Dam

     

  • SHERIDAN, WYOMING ~ One of the last real “cowboy’ towns. Stroll into King’s Saddle Shop and museum, hunt antiques, devour the best western steaks around, sample the micro-brews & distilled spirits, check out Buffalo Bill’s historic Sheridan Inn and tour a cattle baron’s mansion.

     

  • BILLINGS, MONTANA ~ The Pictograph Caves, Western Heritage Center, vital Historic & Downtown walking District.   • PLENTY COUPS STATE PARK ~ A memorial to Chief Plenty Coups, the last great Crow chief and world-renowned statesman.

     

  • ST. LABRE MUSEUM & MISSION ~ Catholic missionaries established this ongoing chain of missions shortly after the Battle of the Little Bighorn and they remain the largest Indian mission school system in the world today.

     

  • MEDICINE WHEEL ~ A view from atop the world – on the Big Horn Mountains Scenic Byway between Sheridan & Cody – a place so sacred you’ll always remember!

     

  • BOZEMAN TRAIL CORRIDOR ~ Visit Fort Phil Kearney, the Fetterman Massacre and Wagonbox sites-then follow along the route to Fort C. Smith and the Yellowstone valley.

     

  • DEER MEDICINE ROCKS ~ In the Valley of the Rosebud, where Sitting Bull had his vision of  “Soldiers Falling Into Camp”.
